Thanksgiving 2016

Where did the time go? Thanksgiving was two days ago and I'm still eating turkey / haven't done any Black Friday shopping...

I honestly feel like the month of November was a wonderful break from all of the chaos we often get wrapped in.

I worked, a lot, and spent quality time with family and friends. I avoided social media as people ranted and raved about the election, didn't keep up with my favorite YouTubers and barely scrolled through Instagram. It was a month to remember the important things, and the littlest things that give us the most energy.

This year has given me a lot to be thankful for. I suffered from tremendous anxiety last year and managed to (mostly) overcome it. I'm back to being happy and living (what I feel is) a good life. I've found purpose in so many things again, and have had so many wonderful writing opportunities. And to add to it, I've had an extraordinary guy by my side through it.

To the few of you who have kept up with my blog — thank you. I'm grateful for you, too. Internet friendships totally rock. I love getting to know you through the Internet, and I can't want to see what the new year brings you.
